Today, sustainability comes with many names, labels and certifications.

For us, above all, it is a way of living and making choices.Our family has lived in this valley for generations.
We have chosen to live on a mountain farm to work the land, gather our own herbs and transform them into the products of Mas Vinal.

That way of life naturally follows us into the Excelsior.
We are connected to a biomass heating network, we limit plastic and single-use products as much as possible, favour refillable containers and simply try to avoid what we do not really need.
When we buy something, we also like to know where it comes from – and to know the faces, the values and the way of working of the people we choose. That applies to food, but equally to a piece of furniture, a fabric, a material or the work of a local craftsman.

Because for us, sustainability also means supporting the community we are part of.
Not because today it has become important to say so but because this valley is our home.
And taking care of it is the most natural way we know to continue living here.
Because what we call home is something worth caring for.
